MIDAXO® RL-Series

Description

Solvent-based inks designed for excellent printing properties on various materials. Available for lamination printing applications. This ink system offers excellent color strength, printability and press room friendliness.

Substrates

• PP, PE, OPP, Pearlised BOPP
• PVC
• Aluminum Foil
• Metalized polyester

Note: all substrates should be treated to minimum of 38 dynes/cm for good adhesion and optimum resistance properties

Auxiliaries

• Thinner: Ethyl acetate
• Retarder: Methoxy Propanol
• Extender varnish: RL-20 Regular extender varnish / RUL-20 Adhesion promoting extender varnish (Varnish to be added according to your color strength requirements and to refresh the ink)

Remarks

• Recommended working temperature should be 25°C
• Recommended ink viscosity (on the print press) 14-20 seconds/Din cup-4

Additives

• Adhesion promoter 001: (1-4%)
• Anti scratch additive 002: (1-4%) for non lamination printing applications
